Family Pictures is based on the novel by Sue Miller and revolves around a girl growing up and surviving the many troubles and incidents happening throughout the life of the girl and her family.
This is a very good movie all around and very well acted. As you can see with the screen caps, the cinematography was also very good with the use of different lighting, shadows, depths and angles.
This was Laura's first feature film, released around the same time Ready Or Not was in its first season.
For you Andromeda fans, you will also notice in the film a familiar face other than Laura's. Gordon Michael Woolvette also has a roll in this movie. (It's after Laura's character grows up, so he's not in any of the caps and doubtful they met on the set. Therefore, Project Mission Genesis would still be when they first appeared on screen together.)
